S. T. I. Began trading in China in 1999. Early days for S. T. I. Saw it involved mostly in printing&packaging and plumbing and building supplies. In the early days of S. T. I's trading it was basically a 'one man band'. Peter Cain founded this company and operated all aspects of the company from sourcing to pricing to QC to shipping. Today S. T. I. Employs one of the largest Government Foreign Trading Companies in Shanghai. By law every item that leaves China must pass through one of these companies. The strength and power of this company is of great importance. This company protects the interests of S. T. I. Against inferior products being exported. They have the power to sue, penalize or even close down factories why try to 'cheat the system'. This is a significant issue for not only S. T. I, but also for the end customer.
